Chris is a member of the frm’s Estate Planning Practice Group. He specializes in trusts, estate planning, estate and gift taxation, probate, will and trust contests, guardianships, conservatorships, Medicaid and elder law.

Chris received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Communication Arts and Sciences from Calvin College in 1995. He received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law in 1999. While attending law school, Chris was a note and comment editor for the Michigan State Journal of International Law and a member of the Tax and Estate Planning Society.

Chris is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan in the Probate and Estate Planning and Real Property Law sections. He is also active in supporting the community by serving on several boards and committees.
