Jeff devotes his practice to public sector law. He currently serves as city attorney for Cedar Springs, Coopersville, Kentwood, Saugatuck and Walker; as village attorney for the Villages of Howard City, Lakeview, Nashville, Pierson and Sand Lake; and as township attorney for Alpine, Martin, Montcalm, North Plains, Thornapple, Winfield, and Wright Townships. His practice specialization includes Public Sector Law, Zoning and Land Use, Real Estate Development, and Administrative Law.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University and his juris doctorate from the University of Oregon Law School. He is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan's Public Corporation Law Section and the Michigan Association of Municipal Attorneys. He is a former member of the Michigan Municipal League's Legislative and Urban Affairs Committee and former chair of the firm's Public Sector Client Service Team. Jeff is the former Chairperson of the State Bar of Michigan's Public Corporation Law Section.
