John Huff is the head of our Personal Services practice group and a member of our Public Sector practice group. He focuses his practice on municipal law and estate planning. He is city attorney for the City of East Grand Rapids, township attorney for Cascade Charter Township, and also serves as special counsel for a number of other municipalities.

John received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Albion College and his law degree from Northwestern University. He is a member of the State and Local Government Law and the Real Property and Probate and Trust Law sections of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Public Corporation Law and Probate and Estate Planning sections of the State Bar of Michigan. He is a member of the West Michigan Estate Planning Council and is an accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planners and Counsels. He is a member of the endowment committee at Mayflower Congregational Church and the Planned Giving Advisory Council at Albion College. John is listed in the "Best Lawyers in America".
