Terry Tobias focuses his practice in the areas of public sector law, litigation, and criminal defense work. Prior to practicing law, Terry was a police officer for twenty-one years, acting as Police Chief for the Kentwood Police Department and Deputy Police Chief for the Battle Creek Police Department.
Terry is a member of the Michigan Police Chiefs Association and is on the Board of Directors for the Kent County Conservation League. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is a member of the Criminal and Labor Law sections of the State Bar of Michigan, and the Grand Rapids Bar Association.
