Varnum partner Stacey George was presented with the Affiliate Service Achievement Award at the recent annual meeting and awards ceremony of the Commercial Alliance of Realtors.
George was honored for her work over the past several years on the CAR Forms Committee. As part of that committee, George manages updates to transaction forms used by CAR members in daily buy, sell and lease transactions. In 2022, George managed significant updates and presented the changes at two continuing education seminars to CAR members.
George is a partner in Varnum’s Real Estate Practice. She represents business owners, residential real estate developers, residential and commercial property buyers and sellers, builders, condominium associations and landlords and tenants. Her practice includes consulting and negotiating on a variety of real estate-related documents for both residential and commercial real estate matters, including leases, buy and sell agreements, financing documents, easements, construction contracts and addressing boundary disputes.
George is a member of the Real Property Sections of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. She is recognized by Leading Lawyers for residential and commercial Real Estate Law as well as Trust, Will and Estate Planning Law.
